How you can bring Hope

Your support is what keeps the mission continue. Your donation of time, talent or treasure all provide help to the cause at HFU.

Please keep the people of Northern Uganda and our mission in your prayers.

If you would like to offer your skills or time to the organization, please contact us — info@hopeforuganda.org.

What we are looking for:
Help with:

  • Newsletters
  • Mailings
  • Parish liaison
  • Donor Appreciation dinner
  • Radio/tv events

Financial donations are what fuel the mission.

Your donation supports more than 1,000 students who will receive high-quality secondary school education, healthcare, and faith formation.

YOU can bring hope to a student by providing financial assistance for tuition, room, and board fees.

  • A gift of $1000 ($85/month) will support a student for a full academic year.
  • A gift of $360 ($30/month) will support a student for an academic term.
  • A gift of $150 ($12.50/month) will provide meals for a student for a full academic school year.

Remembering loved ones

Have a Mass offered for your special intentions by a priest from the Archdiocese of Gulu, Uganda. Because priests in Northern Uganda receive no other compensation, a Mass offering is often the only money they receive to help perform their ministries.

Single Masses may be offered for your intentions or for the soul of a loved one (living or deceased). Suggested stipend: $10 per Mass.

Gregorian Masses (a series of 30 Masses) may be offered for a deceased individual. Suggested stipend: $300 per series.

HFU accepts cash, checks, stock transfer, and donor-advised charitable funds.

Cash and Checks are payable and mailed to:
